Summer Course
BEST courses are organized each season. When you take part in a BEST course you follow lectures, practical work and company visits about interesting topics (e.g. Bionic man, Tidal power,...). At the end of the course, you have to take a little evaluation to see your understanding of the topic.

EBEC
Tired of theoric lectures? Willing to emulate your knowledge with other students? Take part in the European BEST Engineering Competition organized by BEST. Many prizes to win including a spot for the national final!
A formation
For the first time since the establishment of the Engineering Competition in Louvain-la-neuve there will be an aditionnal part with formations. Four different formations will be given so that each person would be able to provide some different capabilities to their team. The formations will talk about the well-knowned soft-skills, these competences that are so precious in companies but aren't taugh by the traditionnal academic world. In order to make you discover a less famous part of BEST some trainers from different countries will be teach you in diverse subjects such as project management or leadership.
The team Design
The competition includes a Team Design. It consists of resolving a problem as a team with a limited amount of time and with limited amout of materials. Teams should therefore mix creativity, imagination and innovation in order to build a fonctionnal model answering to the initial problem. This challenge will offer a nice time and some intense reflexion on an original problem that will emulate your pratical capabilities. A European competition
A victory at the LEC will offer to the lucky winners the opportunity to participate to the regional competition: the beBEC. This editions will gather the 8 best teams of the benelux. They will face some more complex problems and compete in other categories such as the Case Study. The best two teams from the benelux competition will earn a spot in the european final in Zagreb and will try to do better than the team from the UCL from last year that represented us in Istanbul last year. Congratulations to them!
