The Best Way to visit Europe

Haven't you heard of BEST before? No? So you weren't one of the 1000 students who attended an unforgettable BEST event last summer... But don't worry, there are several opportunities this Summer to make you discover the so famous BEST spirit !

What is BEST?

BEST, Board of European Students of Technology, was founded in 1988. It is a non-profit, non-political and non-representative student organisation whose philosophy is "To promote Europe amongst Europeans".

There is now a well-established network of Local BEST Groups within more than 70 top-level universities in around 28 European countries, from the Urals to Portugal. These groups provide students with information regarding the possibilities of studying or participating in research projects abroad, and giving the students opportunities to contact other students all around Europe.

What is a Seasonal Event? (Winter,Summer,Spring, Autumn)

It is a way to spend two wonderful weeks somewhere in Europe, with 20 to 30 other students from all around Europe. It can be either a learning event or a leisure event. But whatever the topic is, the BEST side of a BEST event is the social part: you will have the chance to discover several other cultures and to make new friends all around Europe! There is only one bad moment in BEST events: the departure time, when you will have to leave your new friends...

And how much will you have to pay for one week of activities, with accommodation, food, related excursions, and so on... Not a huge amount of money thanks to the efforts of the organisers in fundraising.

So, what are you waiting for to apply?

For student form Faculty of Applied Science of UCL Belgium , do not forget that this event can be worth 2 ECTS in your cursus.
